Ring "In Progress"

I made this ring without a plan. Or rather — I had one, but it changed halfway through. Well, that’s the way I create. First I saw the stone. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. And then I made the ring.

It’s slightly off, slightly unbalanced — and that’s on purpose. Because not everything needs to be symmetrical to make sense. The claw-shaped setting holds a soft blue chalcedony. A small green peridot, set in gold, brings in that part of you that’s always been there — but that you sometimes forget or hide, so you don’t seem too much or too strange.

P.S. The Chalcedony is cut by a stone cutter in Barcelona specifically for this ring.
