Yellow evokes a sense of expansiveness and relaxation, representing release from problems and restrictions. The positive qualities attributed to yellow are also true for orange, but to a greater degree. Orange is "more energetic" than pure yellow.

In the nature bright yellow, symbolising daylight, is contrasting with dark blue, representing the night. Dark blue signifies quiet and passivity, while bright yellow embodies hope and activity. These colors are referred to as "heteronomous," meaning they influence human behaviour rather than being controlled by humans.

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe referred to yellow in terms of sensation appearing when you look though yellow glass "your eyes will rejoice, your heart will expand, you will feel happier, it seems that...warmth is blowing”.

In Chinese philosophy, yellow is associated with the end of summer, earth, the center, and the planet Saturn.

Johannes Itten in the book "The Art of Color" considered yellow being a symbol of understanding and knowledge, symbolically representing the highest sublimation of matter through the power of light. Yellow is equated with light-emitting matter and is linked to the concept of "seeing the light" and intelligence.

Geometric shape which corresponds to yellow color is triangle, to orange is trapezium.
